CODING

5:00 - 5:30 PM PST, Mon & Fri

K - 12th

For this class, it is recommended that students are older than 7 or already have a strong understanding of simple arithmetic with adding, subtracting, and multiplying.

In this programming course, students will use Scratch to program their own 2D video game based on a video game chosen by the students! Scratch is a drag-and-drop coding platform built by MIT where you can connect together coding blocks like Legos Bricks to write your own code. Students will learn fundamental programming concepts such as if-statements, loops, variables, and random numbers, all while building a video game!
